Fireflciker wondered the camp, stumbling across the apprentice's den. He sniffed the entrance, Violetpaw? Flowerpaw? He looked into the dimly lit den, shadowed by leafy branches. He couldn't see two golden cats grooming themselves, playing or making the beds. He sighed and sat down near the tree-stump, memories washing over him like a white wave. Him eating with his friends at the tree-stump, rolling over and over in a gental play-fight. Warriors sticking their heads inside, calling their apprentices. It was hard being a cat in which now only had a couple kits and two apprentices as family. He was the only live adult in the family, one who has worked hard for over twelve moons. Glancing back into the den, his head drooping toward his paws, but his eyes glancing toward the apprentice's den, then the nursery, then to the tunnle. He sighed and raised his head to the partly clouded sky breathing, "Why did you do this me StarClan, why?" Closing his eyes he murmered, "I am all alone." His vioce cracked near the end.

Honeypaw sighed quietly to herself, her ind overflowing with pain and worry. What would she do? She let her mind wander slowly to the thoughts of the Clan. How would they see her? As a small, untrained, just-out-of-the-nursery medicine cat apprentice? Or as a young cat destined to be a medicine cat, being tested by the powers of StarClan? She laughed quietly to herself, knowing the first one was the only choice they really had.
Honeypaw sighed deeply. She couldn't possibly be a normal apprentice. Not when StarClan had shown her her medicine cat destiny stretched before her in a dream. She noticed a cat near her. Perhaps he could help her.
Wow. I must be going crazy, she thought.

His ears flicked as he smelled another cat, she kowered her head and turned to the cat beside her, a paw raised to stand up. Worry and angony danced in her eyes, he stood up swiftly and silently, worry in his bright eyes. He set a paw beside her's and murmered softly, "What is wrong?" His tortishel fur above shown with sunshine, sleek and clean, and the his white sides, legs and underbelly where darker from the shade. He could tell something was wrong with her, something important, to her atleast. He knew what he thought was important and what others thought of important. Sundance was just a mesly queen, born outside of the Clan and made from loner to warrior. So what she died giving birth to cat not even full-blooded? Who cared if he died? what diffent would it make, StormClan have warriors, apprentices kits and queens, what else would they need?

Honeypaw sighed inwardly. "Gingerheart. She's just... gone. And I don't know what i'm going to do about a mentor, and... How am I going to get to be a medicine cat if there's no one to train me?"

Fireflicker sighed, confused to. Who was going to mentor her, StarClan? The Leader? He purred, getting an idea, "How about you go over to BreezeCLan, or SplashClan, and maybe they could mentor you?" He suggested confusingly, unable to grip another idea firmly. Maybe, SplashClan is on the border, but they will think we are invading. BreezeClan are our pals, but they are to far away. AshClan are just to darn evil, and hard to get to because of the Thunderpath. Though he would NEVER wish the Thunderpath away, what else would keep AshClan cats confined to the own territory?

Honeypaw sighed.
"I think i'm going to have to go over to Rowanfall. I hear he's a very good medicine cat."

"Hm, which Clan is he in? I forgot." Fireflicker ask, trying to sooth her by running his tail down her pelt. HOpefully, Rowenfall was a good mentor, who cares if he knows herbs, if he is a bad teather, bad at his job, his position in the Clans. Sure a cats can heal, watever, a any cat can heal with the right training, but that is part of a medicine cat, to give the right training. "Now what kind of a father would he be," he thought to himself, "if I was a horrid role-model for my kits?"

"Rowanfall is SplashClan. But I'm afraid to ask him because of the..." she searched for the right word. "Tension."

Fireflicker just sighed with a half-grin on his patched face. "Did you think that tention between the Clans can weaken ThunderClan? You weaken ThunderClan without a medicine cat, but hey! You speak of what you think is right! That is a valuable thing amungst us you know." He pured, softly nudging her with a a paw. "Well, when you deside what to do, I'll follow you. To make sure you don't stumble along the way, how about that?"

Honeypaw sighed, but it wasn't as heavy as before. "Maybe you're right... But, still. What if Rowanfall sasy no? Then what will happen? I could go to AshClan. They seem to like us a little more...

(x.x I am soooooo sorry.)
Fireflicker nodded, understanding her words. "Have hope, that is all you need. Have hope, that is reality's little seed." He purred rythmaticly, like reciting a song.
