Runningkit's eyes were wide as he raced over the moors. His eyes larger than moons, he jumped over a small rock and grinned. His eyes were that same warm amber color, and his paws those same small shaped. His purr was raged and his pelt, of course, was as well. He stopped grinning and slide to a stop. "Where are they!" He meowed out loud, looking ofr his den mates. He hated running out of camp, but than, on his way back he knew he'd have to hurt his paw, just to get into the medicine cat's den.

The small white tabby crouched in the tall grasses of the moor. She was here to train by herself, she had never been around the other kits much. Plus, she wanted to improve. Being so small, she had to practice more than the rest of them, and she did want to be a warrior eventually. Now that she had recovered, she was practicing. She heard a noise, rustling in the grass not far from her. Of course, as per usual with Blackkit, she lept without considering what it could be. Although there was no dangers, she still should've thought more.

Of course, instead she landed on another kit. She lept off him, looking at him. "I'm sorry..." She mumbled her apology, backing away with a few steps of her dainty little paws. Her icy eyes looked him over, slightly admiring his handsome looks. He was her age, maybe older, that she did not know. What she did know is that he was a Breezeclaner, so she had no fear of him. Besides, even if he wasn't, he wouldn't have been a real risk.

Runningkit looked as the kit tackled him. When the she-cat had let him go, he climbed to his paws, and meowed, "Why did you do that!" His voice was loud and warm, though if he didn't smell her scent, he would of been madder. "Are you not Blackkit!" He meowed softly. Pouncing around the white tabby she-cat who's icy blue eyes, scared him slightly. He growled play-fully and leapted for the she-cat's back, to try and tackle her.

Blackkit, with one swift motion, moved directly out of the way of the pouncing cat. "Nice try, you silly tom," She teased, "And yes, I am Blackkit. And I'm sorry, I thought you might've been a rabbit or something. I guess I should look before I leap," She flicked her tail and smiled at him. "I'm assuming you are Runningkit. Well, I wasn't here to play." She was much more mature than she should've been, Blackkit was. But she had learned that in her life, she had to do things her way. Since she could not stand a chance against bigger cats, which was pretty much almost every other cat, she had to use her evasive techniques to avoid her opponent. She was skilled at it, so now she was working on her offensive techniques and then, her defensive.

Blackkit smiled before circling him. Of course, he would be perfect to test herself. She crouched down, swishing her tail back and forth. "But, if it's playing you want, playing you'll get," She hissed playfully before leaping for him. Sadly, she'd never really had any friends. Maybe this was her chance to make one. Well, one could only hope it was.

Runningkit was trackled by the small she-cat. Smiling "Hey Blackkit get your furry butt off me." He growled playfully, wiggling away. He turned and wiggled his tail. His eyes wide like moons. He nosed his way closer to the she-cat he had started play-fighting with. It was always fun to make friends, and this she-cat was going to be fun to play with. Licking his paw swiftly, he swamped his paw at Blackkit.

Blackkit laughed as she was tossed off Runningkit. He was able to swat her, she had poor defensive skills still. "Hey, hasn't anyone told you not to hit girls?" She joked, swatting him back. She had to admit, it was fun playing with him. Normally, she wasn't too social. She lept at him again, tackling him and pinning him to the ground. "Gotcha, Runningkit! So, what's my prize?" She teased, getting off of him, but remaining her fighting stance in case he tackled her again.

Runningkit laughed at her joke about not hitting girls. But when she asked him what was her prize when she has tackled him, he meowed. "Here is your prize." Touching noses with Blackkit he purred and raced away. "Can't catch me again Blackkit!" He smiled, and with a flick of his ears he turned to see if she was following.

Blackkit was startled at his sudden approach, and despite the urge to leave, she chased after him. She was fast-footed, and cut through the longer grass, cutting him off and ending up in front of him. "I'm small, but fast. I can easily catch up," She smiled, then bolted in the other direction. "Try and catch me!" She shouted back. She ran as fast as she could, but tripped when her paw fell into a small hole and fell, which would surely let Runningkit catch up.

Runningkit, fast as he was, slowed as he lost sight of Blackkit. "Blackkit!" He meowed, starting to cry out. He faced the hole, and spotted Blackkit's body. Grinning he wiggled forward, his ears and rear lowered. Stalking forward he leapted upwards and landed on the kit. "HAHA GOT YEAH!" He purred as he stared at Blackkit.

Blackkit laughed. "Runningkit, this time, get your furry butt off of me!" She joked as she pushed him off of her. She walked gingerly over to him, her ice blue eyes twinkling happily. She had to admit, also, that she quite liked this tom, and she was going to be a little more flirty with him. She moved closer to him, before licking his cheek and rubbing hers against his. She moved away, looking at him. "There's your prize," She said flirtaciously before turning, flicking her tail gently in his face, and beginnign to walk away, still glancing back at him.

Runningkit was shocked for a moment, than he purred and raced up to Blackkit. "So guess what!" Runningkit meowed, gently pushing his, 'friend' playfully. His eyes round like moons again. His nose wrinkled up and he smiled gently. His eyes rounded even bigger. "We are two moons away from being apprentices! " He was so happpy he leapt forwards and landed on his face.

She laughed loudly as he fell on his face. "Nice job, smartie!" She licked his nose gently, kissing it better. She smiled when he mentioned becoming apprentices. "Yes, and then we'll be even closer to being warriors and adult cats! My name is going to be Blackice. I don't know if I'll ever have a mate, though," She said with a bit of a sigh. She figured that she wouldn't find someone, she just wasn't good enough. Blackkit rubbed up against Runningkit, purring softly to indicate she was happy around him. She sat down, swishing her tail around on the ground. "If I do find a mate, I want one that loves me, and wouldn't leave me for anything in the world," She added in for good measure.

Runningkit smiled and meowed. "I know I can't wait! I hope my warrior name will be Runningfaith." He meowed at her first sentence. Than when she went on to talk about mates, and as she sat down, Runningkit purred. "Of course. Doesn't every cat want that from their mates?" He meowed with a questioning look. Feeling her rub against his side, his whole body rumbled with his purr. He than turned and looked at Blackkit, with his eyes, round and large he meowed. "Don't worry though Blackkit. No one is gonna hurt you. Not if I have my two-cents put into it." His purr only grew deeper, but it was cut short at what he had always dreamed of becoming. A medicine cat's apprentice.

Blackkit purred, but then laughed a bit at his remark that no one would hurt her with him around. "I don't need protection, Runningkit, I can handle things on my own, you know," She smiled, being her usual independant self, "But having you around would be nice," She stood up, moving closer to him. She did like him, maybe eventually there'd be something more than an innocent kit crush. "Well, maybe I'll just have to stay without a mate for the rest of my life. I highly doubt someone could put up with me for a long time. Besides, you toms are so unpredictable. Hardly any would stay loyal, I can tell you would, but you are just a kit. You may change, though," She said, mentioning in a subtle manner that eventually, it could be a possibility that they could be mates. She highly doubted it, though, but there still was a possibility.

Runningkit snorted. "Oh come on I'll still be the same old Runningkit. I promise!" He pushed himself agains Blackkit, smiling. "Plus, I'll always be there for you, if you like it or not." Eyes sparkling he meowed. "Cause yeah know all tom's just love bugging she-cats."" He meowed lying on his belly now. Turning over onto his back he laid there staring at the clouds.
