Riversong Let the rain fall down, When the river can sing, The ashes to win, Against all evil within.
Looking down at the ash soaked ground. Blue-green eyes, glossy as they were, glaring at the dirty ground. Licking her pads, the she-cat grapped the leave from the tree, that had not been burned with ashes and very gently washed her paws with it. Daintly she landed on the ground, and a bunch of ash threw up. Gagging she snarled at the ground. Stepping forward she sniffed the air, the ashes rushed up her nose, sneezing she tired again, this time, she scented what she had been looking for.
A deep growl formed in the throat of the medicine cat as she leapted forward threw the ashes. Her paws, as white as they used to be, back in the tree, were slowly turning a deep gray. She new she needed to be quick. Leaping she trackled the mouse, digging her teeth into it. She closed her eyes, knowing, her right eye didn't need to be that closed. She climbed to her paws, and stared at her pelt. Her paws were now turning a ashy black. She looked for another clean leaf.
Her eyes didn't catch one, but her eyes caught another thing. Cobwebs. Thinking back to her medicine cat duty, she had come out to collect something, and it wasn't prey, she knew that for sure. Quietly she sat on her henchs and though it threw. Her nose wrinkled as she studied her memory. "I needed cobwebs, and..." She couldn't remember it. Her nose wrinkled up and her voice snarled. "I can't remember!"
But every river dies out, Sooner or later, And when it does, It goes out in a big bang, And that bang will shake the world.

Gravesoul - Sadistic She-cat
Ash clinging onto her snow-white pelt, the she-cat stalked silently through the leaves. Two eyes darted around frantically, waiting for a mouse or shrew to peek through grey leaves. Her claws picked up layers and layers of old leaves that started to annoy the young she-cat out of her mind. With a few quick movements of her paws, the leaves had found themselves back on the ash-covered ground, where they belonged.
Out of one caramel eye, Gravesoul saw a quick movement. There was a flash of a mixture of colors, unknown to the female at the moment, so she turned towards it. Muscles rippling under white pelt, legs gracefully moving, the female didn't notice a certain root sticking out of the ground. As noticable it would've been to another cat, Gravesoul wasn't all to bright.
With a quick yelp and a smash, the she-cat felt herself falling face-first into black ash. After she hit the ground, Gravesoul leaped up, and started to shake like a cat fresh out of a cool water. Mousebrain! she mentally scolded herself, snarling outloud with the thought. Through the ash that sat on her eyelashes, Gravesoul could hardly make out the shape she had followed, and started to walk closer.

A glimmer of laughter formed in the she-cat's eyes, though one was always slightly closed, due to her scar. Smiling softly she stepped forward and looked over to where the loud THUD, has be. Crunch....Crush Her paw's made these sounds, for they were easy to note and easy to make out. Her nose pointed higher in the air, she walked forward, her eyes never leaving the ground. Her ears picked up and she spotted a ash covered cat infont of her. Laughing, Riversong sat down. Ash flew up.
"Hello...Ummmm... Gravelsoul?"
Riversong's now coal colored paws disgusted her, and the way the beautiful white she-cat in font of her looked, disgusted her as well. Looking to the trees, Riversong spotted a cover of leave un-burned and un-touched by anything. Leaping up the tree she climbed high and when she grapped all the leaves she needed she returned. Ash rushing up into her nose. Eyes burning she sent her glace on the she-cat infont of her and meowed.
"Here lick these leaves and than wash it in to your pelt, when you're done, just put the leave aside and start anew."

Gravesoul - Sadistic She-cat
Mumbling to herself, Gravesoul looked at the medicine cat with blank eyes. She followed the other she-cat with her two-colored eyes, her head turning slowing. Gravesoul watched the she-cat drop leaves at her feet, and then she lifted up her white head.
"Thanks. . ." That was all she said, and so Gravesoul began to clean herself off. Her white pelt was begining to show itself everytime she finished off a leaf. Licking and wiping, the female was soon done, her pelt almost white again. Shaking, some ash flew into the air, causing Gravesoul to sneeze once. The ash tickled her sensitive nose and she threw her head around, trying to rid herself of the pale black dust.
"I hate ash . . ." was all the female could manage to mumble as she hid her nose inbetween her paws. Then, with a loud sneeeze, ash flew up and covered the female's face. Growling, Gravesoul snorted, ash shooting out of her nostrils. "I swear, one of these days I am going to choke on this stuff!" Hissing, the female cleaned off her face with the only clean leaf she could find.

Riversong licked her shoulder, not knowing there was ash there. Wrinkling her nose she snarled gently at her stupid actions. "I know what you mean Gravesoul." She stepped back and grapped her piece of fresh-kill. Dropping it at the she-cat's feet she meowed. "Gravesoul, I was wondering if you could help me for a moment."
-Sorry no muse D:< I'm mad at myself.-

Help? Gravesoul hardly ever helped anyone, and when she did she usually was in a bad mood afterwards. But, today was different. How get life get any better than this? The sarcasm in her thinking was astounding, for sarcasm could be called the female's 'second language'. Nodding once, Gravesoul shrugged her now-gray-colored shoulders. "Sure. It couldn't hurt, unless of course I tripped again." Again with the humor, Gravesoul kept a blank face, not giving away what she was truely thinking.

"Good, and anyways, Can you look for cobwebs in that hollow tree?" Pointing to a very hollow tree a couple tail lengths away. A smile broke her face as she licked her fore-paw. "I will look for..... margold! That was it!" Margold was three steps to the right, and eight tail lengths away. Trotting that way she forced herself, and her mind, that margold was what she needed. Looking at the ash covered leaves and flowers, Riversong's eyes glared at the ashed colored leaves.
