Thunder Goes Boom
By Fallingmoon
Damper and damper your world gets,
Warmer and darker.
Gray traps you, holds you, threatens you,
And the lightning stricks at you.
Your face is hidden behind tears of pain,
Your tears are smuthered by your dark blue-jeans.
Boom goes your anger,
And the flash is your pain.
The clouds hide you, protect you,
They shelter you from the world.
Rain pelts you like they are morning to,
Your blurry eyes look up to see the figure
of the source of your pain.
There he stands, a hand reached out to warm you,
The same hand in which was on the one who betrayed you.
With anger as your driver, sadness as your car,
You flash back at him, letting your tears stream wild.
He had hurt you,
Now it was his turn to pay.
The pain of leaving,
The anger of rejection.
As your shoes leaves mud on his pants
and prints in the ground,
You feel your heart race for him.
Though you fight to go,
You fight to leave everything behind.
The emotions,
The pain.
The memories,
and most of all,
The hatred.

Well, that is my song. Even though I haven't been dumped because, well reasons you shouldn't get into, this is about a girl who had been 'dumped' by the supposive love of her life.
Your Friend
By Fallingmoon
It may be the perfect day,
It may be the perfect season,
It may be the perfect weather,
Though I am always a friend.
Today is cold,
Today is wet.
Today is gloomy,
Though I am always a friend.
The cold wind blows,
The river flows.
Squirell burrows,
Though I am always a friend.
My eyes might wonder,
My mouth may lie,
My heart may wonder,
Though I am always a friend.
Someone could throw,
Someone could kick,
Someone could yell,
Though I am always a friend.
Change may come,
Change may hurt.
Change may warm,
Though I am always a friend.
People might steal,
People will lie.
People could hurt,
Though I am always a friend.
Dreams may soar,
Dreams would be torn.
Dreams might waver,
Though I am always a friend.
The world would fly,
The world may die.
The world might bend,
Though I am always a friend.
I may win,
I may loose.
I might fail,
Though I am always a friend.

Now this I am not shy of, this poem is about a person trying to convince another person that no matter the flaws and no matter the actions, at heart she is a true friend.
